EP Elections

Have you already participate in EP Elections? If not, then go and make your own choice of 7 June!

Tomorrow evening we will know who will represents Estonia in EP. I have heard that many of Estonians is giving them votes for Indrek Tarand.
Will see tomorrow who get in EP or who will stay in Estonia. I’ll bet it would be quite interesting evening.

My critical question – how high or low will be the participation % in Estonia? In a good hope into democratic society, I hope that participation % will be over 30%. In this case we can talk that in Estonia is democracy, otherwise we have a problem! Actually, participating in elections is one of the only way to show our power over government and or opinion.

So let’s take a chance and participating in EP Elections of 7 June!

Ausad valimised?

EP valmised on alanud. Tänasest, so 28.maist kuni 3.juunini on võimalik Eesti eduloo, ID-kaadri kaudu osaled eelhääletusel.

Mina andsin juba hommikul 9:02 oma hääle ära ja olen oma valikuga rahul. Jään kindlaks oma neile, keda lati olen valinud. Samas erakondade/kanditaatide platvormidega olin eelnevalt põhjalikult tutvunud. Aga see selleks.

Peamiseks küsimuseks on, kas ausad valimised on ikka nii ausad, kui paistavad? Keskerakond teatas paari nädala eest, et püstitab 20 e-hääletuse telki, kus tutvustatakse e-hääletust! Nüüd teatasid, et toovad valijad kohale! Kriitiline küsimus siinkohal oleks – kas selline tegevus on ikka kooskõlas heade ja ausate valmimis tavadega? Vabariigi Valimiskomisjon on lubanud igathes Keskerakonna algatust kontrollida.

Election for EP has started! Today, on the 28th of May till 3rd of June is possible, at least in Estonia use ID-card for participate in pre elections.

I’ll give my vote at 9:02am and I’m fine with my choice. Pre work was done so I was quite confident in my choice.

But my critical question is: are thous election fair elections? Keskerakond announced few weeks ago that they will put up 20 tent to present e-election. Now few days or was it yesterday they announced that they will bring also voters with bus into tents. So what next?

Same shit, different day

Pole ammu kirjutanud, jah! Liiga kiire on olnud!

Ja arvatavasti pole aega ka enne 1.juuni möödumist kirjutada, sest jah, ma pean tunnistama, et mul on 1.juunil kaitsmine ja ma ei ole veel paanikasse sattunud, kui siis ainult närvid on läbi. Aga millal need mul läbi poleks.

MA kavand on valmis mõeldud, peaks ainult valmis kirjutama, LSE-le on kava esitatud, kuigi mitte küll poliitilisse kommunikatsiooni vaid meedia ja kommunikatsiooni erialale. Seal on magistritöö maht 12000 sõna, ehk siis umbes nagutkene vähem, kui minu hetkel valmiv töö, mis viimastel andmetel oli miski 12599 sõna või midagi sellist.

Ja agendas on muud olulised teemad, alustades sellest, et Reformid viskasid Sotsid valitsusest välja (Ilvese öeldu, et Valitusel on vaja mandaati on ainuõige) ning nad võiksid jätkata tegelikult vähemus valitusega; innovatsioonipoliitika. Ega meil siin Eestis muud olulist ei toimugi ju. Eks esmaspäev toob mingi selguse!

I’m still busy and over booked. But the graduation day isn’t far! After 1th June I can breathe easily – school is over till I must go to Tartu again and protect my MA draft.

So let’s make little bit work now and after that to home sweet home into Haapsalus.

Forgive me father

I have made sin!

The weather is so nice at outside, that it’s sin to sit here at work. I would be better to sit at outside, maybe in Hyde Park or Green Garden in London, if here. OK, London is little bit far, but it would be OK, if I can lie in Kadrioru Park.

And finally, I have made some mosaics of my to London. I want back!

And I have change my travel plans. Will be back in London (weekend in Paris maybe? or in Brighton? Who knows!) in the begin of July and a week later in Barcelona. So I will be two weeks in holiday. Sounds nice, I must book only my tickets.

A glass of red wine, good friends and a movie

A glass, tow or three of red wine, good friends and a movie with lots of thoughts about politics and society.

Yesterday, after we have looked Harry Potter, we were going to Cafe Bohem. I thought “oo my god, it’s in Kopli”, but I finally if we arrived there, I was really surprised!

Ok, a small latte in Bohem, a discussion about the war. After that a red wine in Toompea and a quite interesting film Terror’s Advocate L’avocat de la terrur.

After that, about 1 am when I walk @ home I was thinking – which political system would be best? Either democracy or democratic participation? We are talking that democracy is the best political system what we may have after all other systems, today some experts are talking that democracy isn’t the best, the best is democratic participation. To they have right? I’m not sure that democratic participation is the best!

EIA (Eesti Inimarengu Aruanne/Estonian Human Development Report) 2008 is today in The Parliament of Estonia in debate.

Back at work

Yes, my holiday is over and I’m back @ work! It’s quite strange feeling.

Finally, I finished yesterday my study objective description and I hope it likes for LSE and on 13th June i must take my IELTS or something like that test. Will see, maybe I have luck!

Going to Tartu!

Istun bussis ja sõidan Tartu poole!

9.25ks peaks olema Tartus ja kella 10st siis kohe esimese kaitsjana peaksin oma töö ära kaitsma. Eile õhtul sain retsensendilt veel viimase tagasisideme, mis polnudki halb. Seega võin ma sirge seljaga täna eelkaitsmisele minna. Kahju, et nad eelkaitsmisel hinnet ära ei pane, kui kõik hästi on, siis poleks ju vaja 1.juunil (lastekaitsepäeval) oma väheseidki närve hävitada. Ära ta tuleb teha ja nojah, tunnistagem, et hea oleks, kui saaks A kätte, siis on LSE-sse võimalik kah sisse saada. Lalalalala

Igatahes, eks ma siis raporteerin, kui ma olen sellega hakkama saanud, kui veel eile mingit sabinat sees polnud, siis hetkel on närv sees. Samas on see ju hea, aitab hoida külma närvi.

Sorry I’ll forgot update this post. Going to Tartu and coming back from Tartu, reminds me London. Why? Because it was raining all the time! And if I was in uni, then it was sunny outside. Nice weather!

But what about my eve or before protection, or I don’t know what would be the correct word for that. So but my before protection – i was scaring that I would be my nightmare, but actually it was absolutely necessary event. So now I know what was good and what can I make better. So it was really necessary. Now just some little changes in my work and it’s done then! Finally

So, I’m sitting in the bus and I’m going to Tartu. Should be there about at 9.25 am.

I have today my Bachelor’s thesis before protection and on 1th June is the big day. And if I get A, then it’s quite big possibility that I may get into LSE and start studying political communication in London.

I will let U know how it’s going. I’m little bit nervous, but I can handle it!

Over study and under worked!

I think I don’t have so much study over a long time, as I have last few days studied.

Necessary changes in my BA work has done, application has made and I also have send it. And now – finger grossed and just hope that they accept my application.
Also I must find the way how to pay my studies in London because the study fee is almost 14000 pound and I need a job and place to stay .

And under worked? Actually I haven’t done nothing about 2 weeks, soon almost 3 weeks. It’s good to be at holiday!

There are three kinds of false and one of them is statistics. It’s quite strange to look and analyses my blog statistic, where the hell are coming those strange IP addresses from UK or USA.

Im happy that my post about Banksy’s … is looked over 50 times. Seems that Banksy likes everyone. Like Mr. Massow’s says “/…/ nearly everyone knows someone who knows him (Banksy) /…/”. My critical question is – do they read my blog?
